The Nissan 2021 Ariya EV is the first car with the new logo on the car, which is also embellished with LED lights. The new logo is simpler with the circular ring taken out and is replaced with slimmer rings. The rings are also cut in half with the Nissan logo protruding out of the right and left sides. The new logo is much bigger than the older one, with a new chic font.
The letters are spaced more apart than the other logo, and is definitely more modern in style.
The Nissan 2021 logo was created to be more "thin, light, and flexible" and is "flatter and simpler for better adaptation to digital use." The Nissan follows after BMW and the Volkswagen after they switched their logos to a simpler and more modern style.
The Volkswagen and BMW both similarly took out the rounded look and replaced them with a flatter surface and thinner fonts. They both took out the background colors, and the Nissan has also followed this approach. What do you guys think about the new logos?
